As the owner and director of Soulshine Dance Arts Inc., I have been involved in the dance industry for most of my life as a professional performer, instructor, cruise ship dance company manager, and dance studio manager.
Dance has always been in my blood—it is my passion and my therapy. It builds confidence, provides a creative outlet with unlimited benefits, and simply makes my body feel good. It literally makes my soul shine.
Why Dance?
Dance provides a healthy outlet to release energy and manage emotions
Dance provides a fun, positive environment to interact with peers, fostering social skills
Dance encourages creative expression in a structured setting
Memorizing dance routines promotes cognitive development and memory skills
Dance turns your body into a superhero, fighting off boredom, building strength, and defeating the evil forces of sitting still.

I like to grow things, not only in my backyard but in everything I do. The idea of growing, reaching new goals, and exploring who we are has shaped my work and is at the heart of Soulshine, the community I love.
